On Saturday, September 12, we’re coming together on the Spanish Moss Trail for a morning walk that gives back. All proceeds from the event benefit the PATH Program at Beaufort Memorial

Yesterday, we welcomed Chamber members, community leaders, and elected officials for our 2026 Legislative Reception.

A special thank you to Bridges Preparatory School for hosting us at their beautiful campus and to our Presenting Sponsor, Lockheed Martin , for their support of this important annual event.

Congratulations to Mahjong South on their official Ribbon Cutting!

The Chamber was excited to celebrate Ty and Ziggy as they kicked off their three-day Mama’s Mahjong Social in Beaufort. Thanks to Sparklight for being the Ribbon Cutting Sponsor.
Mahjong South brings together a love of the game, Southern hospitality and, most importantly, connection and community.

What a way to kick off Mama’s Mahjong Social!

The Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce was excited to celebrate Mahjong South with an official Ribbon Cutting this evening as Ty Reichel and Ziggy Poplin launched their three-day Mama’s Mahjong Social here in Beaufort.

mahjongsouth was born from Ty and Ziggy’s love of the game, Southern hospitality, and bringing people together. Their events go beyond the tiles, creating welcoming experiences centered around laughter, friendship and connection.

Mama’s Mahjong Social runs August 17–19 and brings together three days of mahjong, shopping, food, special guests, prizes and plenty of opportunities to connect. And this is just the beginning — Mahjong South is already planning destination getaways, beginner lessons, private parties and special events throughout the South.

Congratulations to Ty, Ziggy and Mahjong South on their Ribbon Cutting and an exciting new chapter. Welcome to the Beaufort business community!
