🚧 Preparations for the Citywide Street Rehabilitation & Maintenance have begun! 🚧

Starting on September 4, crews will be fully mobilized to improve your drive and keep our city safe and accessible!

A huge thank you to our local Fire Department for their swift and courageous response to an active fire at a two-story residence.

This incident also marked one of the first uses of our new Quint Tractor-Drawn Aerial ladder truck, delivering advanced protection when it mattered most.

Let’s give a big round of applause to our firefighters for their courage and dedication! 🚒

🚧 Nighttime construction for Phase 2 of the SR-60/Potrero Interchange Project continues for the week of August 24, 2026.

There will be EB/WB SR-60 single lane closures between Jack Rabbit Trail and I-10; no detours required.

⌚ August 24–26: 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
⌚ August 27–28: 11 p.m. - 6 a.m.

This week, Caltrans construction work continues between San Timoteo/Oak Valley Parkway and W. County Line Road.

Street sweeping will occur on Tuesday, August 25 to Wednesday, August 26 from 9 AM to 3 PM.

There will be alternating closures on SR-79 (Northbound and Southbound) from 1st Street to Ramona Express Way.

RIVCO: Hemet Maintenance Crews will perform a sweeping operation on SR-79 on Tuesday, August 25th to Wednesday, August 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Alternating moving closures will occur on the center median, #1 lane, #2 lane, and right shoulder from 1st Street to Ramona Expressway.

On August 18, City Council took a major step forward by approving a feasibility study for a new Community Recreation Center. 🔍

As part of the Beaumont Parks Master Plan, the City is exploring ways to expand parks, recreation programs, and community spaces for all residents. 🛝🌳

A new recreational center was listed as one of our community's top priorities to enhance quality of life and bring more opportunities for fun, fitness, and connection. 🎭🏐🏃‍♂️

RHA Community Works will lead the study to identify what our community needs most, explore the best amenities and programs, and develop a roadmap to make this vision a reality. 🗺️✅
