A huge thank you to our local Fire Department for their swift and courageous response to an active fire at a two-story residence.

This incident also marked one of the first uses of our new Quint Tractor-Drawn Aerial ladder truck, delivering advanced protection when it mattered most.

There will be EB/WB SR-60 single lane closures between Jack Rabbit Trail and I-10; no detours required.

โŒš August 24โ€“26: 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
โŒš August 27โ€“28: 11 p.m. - 6 a.m.

Nightly construction work will begin this week as crews install k-rail, restripe lanes, and perform roadway removal.

Street sweeping will occur on Tuesday, August 25 to Wednesday, August 26 from 9 AM to 3 PM.

There will be alternating closures on SR-79 (Northbound and Southbound) from 1st Street to Ramona Express Way.

Please plan your travel routes accordingly.

RIVCO: Hemet Maintenance Crews will perform a sweeping operation on SR-79 on Tuesday, August 25th to Wednesday, August 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Alternating moving closures will occur on the center median, #1 lane, #2 lane, and right shoulder from 1st Street to Ramona Expressway.
