Today the Rotary Club of Beaumont welcomed Bobby Beaver as our guest speaker! 📚

A lifelong Beaumont resident and Lamar University grad, Bobby shared excerpts from his new book, "Four Funerals in Mamou" — a Gulf Coast fiction story inspired by his own family and memories from Louisiana. The book is available in local stores and on Amazon!

We also celebrated a big win: District 5910 Governor-Elect Dana Espinal presented our club board with the Club Excellence Award for the 2025-26 Rotary year! 🏆

Last week the Rotary Club of Beaumont heard from Payton Keith, Director at Harris, Deville & Associates. Payton’s presentation was informative about the upcoming Golden Triangle Days in Austin in 2027 and a reflection on historical influences that shaped and benefitted our area of the state and therefore the entire state itself.

Today at Rotary, we had the privilege of hearing from Candace Hemelt with Bob Hope School. It was great to learn more about the work they're doing to invest in students and our community.
