Jefferson County Deputies had the opportunity to attend a Mental Health Awareness Meeting hosted by Solace Therapy at OW Collins Senior living Apartments located in Port Arthur.
Mental health is an important part of overall well-being. Remember, you are not alone, and help is available. There are resources and support available for those who may need it.
Let’s continue to break the stigma, support one another, and remind our community that it’s okay to ask for help. 💙

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is currently on the scene of an overturned trailer involving an 18-wheeler on Interstate 10 Eastbound, just east of Boyt Road.

Traffic will be diverted onto Highway 365 from I-10 Eastbound. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and seek alternate routes if possible.

🚨Jefferson County I10 Traffic Alert🚨
The FM 365 overpass at I-10 and the WB main lanes of I-10 are closed after a load being transported struck the FM 365 overpass on the westbound side.
TxDOT crews are on scene and are assessing the condition of the overpass.
Motorists are urged to use an alternate route and avoid the area until further notice.

The 2026 Special Olympics brought excitement, determination, and inspiration to the Beaumont ISD Natatorium. Athletes proudly competed in their swimming events, giving their best effort in every race. At the conclusion of each event, participants were recognized for their hard work and dedication as they received their medals. It was a wonderful celebration of perseverance, inclusion, and the incredible spirit of every athlete.
