On February 14 around 10:37 am the Beaver Dam Police Department is investigating a hit and run collision on HWY 62 East in front of the Sunny Side Cemetery. We are looking for a Gold colored 2000’s model 4 door car. Will a damage to the front passenger side bumper headlight area. If anyone has any information or tips. On 1/23/2026, approximately 5:46 a.m., the burglar alarm went off at Rice’s Drug Store. Moments later, a witness saw an orange vehicle sitting in front of Rice’s and saw two suspects dressed in all black; the witness seen them exiting through the same door that they entered. The witness turned around and followed the suspects and called 911. The vehicle was spotted traveling down 231 with no headlights on. Law enforcement turned around to stop the vehicle; the vehicle turned onto Hwy 62 E. at a high rated speed, passing cars. Due to vehicle driving with its lights off and driving at a high rate of speed. The officer lost sight of the vehicle. The vehicle was later located abandoned around the 3000 block of Rob Roy Rd. The vehicle a 2022 Chevy Camaro was stolen from a car lot out of Bowling Green, KY. We believe there are three suspects involved. Two were inside the store and the thrid was driving the car. The investigation is still on going.

On 01/01/2026 around 1 am two individuals were walking in the 300 block of North Madison St. one of them was wearing a camo jacket with a ski mask on and the other wearing a black hoodie. One of them ran up onto the porch of the residence and covered the ring camera with his hand. But not before showing his face. He is a young male with a beard. A small amount of money was taken from an unlocked car at this residence but it is unknown for sure if these two individuals are involved. The resident did confront the two individuals after the ring camera notification and the two separated running off towards West 4th St. if anyone has any information please contact the Beaver Dam Police Department and remember to lock your vehicles.

State Highway Department has cleared the north bound lane at the intersection of HWY 231 and RochesterRd of the loose gravel. Lane restriction has been lifted.

North bound lane at the intersection of HWY 231 and Rochester Road is covered with gravel. Traffic still able to flow through but is being slowed down so no motorcycles take a spill. State HWY has been requested and are responding to clean the roadway.

On 04-28-2025 Officers with the Beaver Dam Police Department began searching the 8th Street area for Charlie Raley who had multiple warrants for his arrest. When Officers arrived, Raley exited the rear of a residence and was located behind a metal building. Raley was taken into custody and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center. Raley was served his outstanding warrants for the following charges:

Receiving stolen property $500

*PRESS RELEASE*

On 04-23-2025 Officers with the Beaver Dam Police Department were at a home on North Main Street in Beaver Dam when they encountered Wesley Greer and Lisa Greer. Once inside the home Officers located a travel bag with a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Wesley and Lisa Greer were both arrested and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center for the following:

Wesley Greer: PCS 1st degree, 2nd offense, methamphetamine.
Drug paraphernalia buy/possess.

Lisa Greer: PCS 1st degree, 1st offense methamphetamine.
Drug paraphernalia buy/possess.
