Today we celebrate 251 years of the United States Army.

Since June 14, 1775, generations of Soldiers have answered the call to serve, defend, and protect our nation. Through times of war and peace, they have demonstrated courage, sacrifice, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to something greater than themselves.

On this Army Birthday, we honor not only those currently serving, but also the veterans, retirees, and families whose support and sacrifices have helped strengthen our nation for more than two centuries.

Thank you to every Soldier who has worn the uniform with pride and to those who continue to uphold the Army’s values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.

Happy Birthday, Army! 🇺🇸

Memorial Day Service Reminder 🇺🇸

If you’re unable to attend the Beaver Dam Memorial Day Service in person, you can still watch the ceremony live on the Daily Dodge Radio page.

The service begins at 10:15 AM at the Veterans Memorial located at Oakwood Cemetery along Hwy 33 in Beaver Dam.

We are especially proud to share that this year’s guest speaker is our very own Post member and State Commander, Ty Letto.

Wishing everyone a blessed and meaningful Memorial Day as we honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

This weekend’s Poppy event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our members, spouses, and friends who gave their time to help raise funds for our veterans and community programs. ❤️

A special thank you to member wife BJ Muraglia and her “Best Poppy Buddy” Roxanne Lehmann, along with members Scott Polzin and Randy Tobolski, our wonderful Piggly Wiggly crew!

We’d also like to recognize members and friends Terry Cruckson, Rob Litzer, Chuck Staab, Curt Gruenewald, and Kenny Schmitt for manning the tables at Fleet Farm throughout the weekend.

Your willingness to show up, volunteer, and connect with the community means so much. Thank you to everyone who helped make this important fundraising event a success! 🇺🇸

Three talented 8th-grade students were recognized by the Beaver Dam chapter of the VFW for their winning Patriot's Pen entries! 🇺🇸

The students wrote an essay on the theme "How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for Our Country?" ✍️ They were awarded a certificate and a cash prize by the VFW. 🎉

Excellent job, Golden Beavers!! 💚💛

🇺🇸 We recently drew the winner of our Copper Tap 🔫 raffle!

Pictured is Commander Curt Gruenewald with Tom Horvath of the Iron Ridge/Hustisford area. Tom served as a Military Police officer in the U.S. Army and is now a retired law enforcement officer.
