INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE APPLICATION
1. Please contact Amy Suter, HOME Program Manager, to request a full application packet.
2. Review the County’s HOME Program Manual in its entirety to confirm project compliance with all federal regulations and HOME program requirements. Sign certification of review of the program manual (included in the following pages of this document).
3. Complete the application (Excel Workbook) entirely. The application workbook that you complete will depend on which type of project you are applying for. Please reach out to Amy Suter with any questions related to the application.
4. Gather the necessary documentation to complete the attached application checklist, including signed copies of the Conflict of Interest and Project Transmittal Forms (included in the HOME 2024 Application Instructions + Forms document).
5. Submit application workbook and all attachments required by application checklist to Amy Suter.
6. Gather and submit documentation required by underwriting checklist and submit to Amy Suter before February 2, 2024.

Estimated Timeline once Application is submitted:
December 1, 2023 Applications available
February 2, 2024 (by 4:00 PM) Application Submission Deadline
February 2, 2023-April 30, 2024 Application Review/Underwriting
May 1, 2024-July 15, 2024 Application Review by HUD
After September 1, 2024 Final Determination

PUBLIC NOTICE of REGIONAL DCED ESG FISCAL YEAR 2023
Beaver County intends to apply for $15,000 of Regional DCED Emergency Solutions Grant funds for Rapid Rehousing assistance for homeless households. A public hearing is scheduled for August 10th at 3:00 pm at the Beaver County Children & Youth Services conference room located on the third floor at 1080 8th Avenue Beaver Falls, PA. All interested individuals and organizations are invited to attend and offer their views and comments. Public comment will be taken into consideration for guiding the implementation of these funds.
