It is Almost Here!! June 4th at 1:00 p.m. in the Library Park, there will be animals from the A2Z Petting Zoo. Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets and enjoy the fun!!

Today was the final Story Time for this season. Due to the cooler weather, we stayed inside for most of the morning. The children had a great time singing along with "Opposites" and "Ride your Pony". Miss Denise read "The Hungry Caterpillar" and "Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes". We moved out to the park to finish are party with cupcakes and bubbles. Hope to see everyone back in September!

Today's Story Time's theme was spring and planting. Miss Denise read the story "Up, Down and Around" telling how plants grow. They planted tomatoes, peppers, okra and several herb plants in large pots in the park. All the children and families are welcome to come to water and see how the plants are growing and pick the vegetables. To finish the program, they played a bean bag toss game and told the color of the bag. As the game was finishing up one of the children found a Ladybug on the ground, within a few minutes there were eight little ones hovering over the little bug.

Today's Story Time theme was all about vegetables. We had guest from Western Plains, Fetina Molina and Paola Pachero. They read "Growing Vegetable Soup" and "Vegetables" and sang "If You are Happy" with the group. Everyone went out to the park and planted tomato seeds in individual pots to take home.

Awesome Story Time today in the Library Park, Denise began by reading "Peter Rabbit" and talking about the benefits of vegetables. Then Sam and Shannon Mitchell were guest speakers along with 5 of their baby goats. Shannon gave a talk about raising goats, their food, activities and the different types. The children were able to get in the cage and spend time with the goats, petting, feeding and letting them climb over them.

Camber Cline the special guest at Adult Exercise Class today. She gave a class on strength training exercises using weights. She worked with the Lower Body, Upper Body, Standing Core and a Combination/Full body movement. After the class there was a veggie tray and lemon water.
