Beaver Public Library Beaver Public Library The Beaver Library is housed in a 1918 Carnegie Library Building. It is home to a popular reading collection of almost 19,000 books.

It hosts Children's, Teen and Adult programs throughout the year and is proud to find something for everyone! Come Check Us Out!

💔📚 What a loss. Dolly Parton was so much more than a legendary singer, songwriter, and entertainer. She was someone who understood the power of a story and made it her mission to put books into the hands of children.

In 1995, Dolly started the Imagination Library, inspired by her father, who never had the opportunity to learn to read and write. Today, the program sends a free, age appropriate book every month to registered children from birth through age five, regardless of their family’s income.

And what a beautiful legacy that is. She didn’t just tell stories. She helped make sure generations of children would have the opportunity to discover them.

If you have a little one under five, check to see if the Imagination Library is available in your area. It takes just a few minutes to register, and the books are completely free.

Thank you, Dolly, for giving so many children the gift of books and for leaving behind a legacy that will live on in the stories we read and the dreams they inspire. ❤️
