We are excited to announce that Beaver Borough has been awarded a $227,500 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TASA) grant to support pedestrian safety improvements near our local schools.

The funding will be used to install upgraded illuminated pedestrian crossing signage at existing crosswalks near College Square Elementary School, Beaver Area Middle School/High School, and Saints Peter and Paul School.

These improvements will enhance visibility and help make some of our most traveled school-area crosswalks safer for students, families, and residents. We are looking forward to bringing these upgrades to our community and continuing our commitment to pedestrian safety throughout Beaver Borough.

It's going to be a beautiful weekend in Beaver Borough!

Start your Saturday with the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5k/10k Race. Whether you're participating or cheering from the sidelines, come out and support our local fire department and all of the race participants.

After, the Beaver County Farmers Market opens behind the Beaver County Courthouse. Stop by to see what's fresh this week and support our local vendors.

With beautiful weather and increased activity throughout town, please use extra caution around pedestrians and be aware of temporary road closures and traffic impacts during the morning race.

We look forward to seeing everyone out and about. Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

Today, we recognize Memorial Day and pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy each day were secured through the courage, service, and sacrifice of those who gave everything for our nation.

Today, we also recognize and thank the veterans throughout our Beaver Borough community for their service, dedication, and sacrifices. We are grateful for all who have served our country and their families.

As we reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day, we invite our community to join us for Beaver's Memorial Day Parade today at 10:30AM on Third Street, followed by a memorial ceremony honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Beaver Borough is proud to announce that the Beaver Borough Police Department has been awarded a $9,185.00 grant through the Norfolk Southern Safety Frist Grant Program.

This funding will support the purchase of five new AEDs for police vehicles. These AEDs will help ensure officers have updated lifesaving equipment when responding to emergencies and allow them to better serve and protect our community.

We want to thank the Beaver Borough Police Department, especially Detective Jim DeGori, for securing this grant funding for our community through his work in preparing and submitting this grant application.
