Thanks to park employees and some volunteers from the Disc Golf Association, Little Beaver State Park officially has an 18 hole disc golf course open to the public and free to use. The course is up near the campground. Come play and let us know what you think. We will have maps and scorecards designed and available for your use, but in the mean time I’ll attach a picture of the course on here. Come on out to the park and enjoy.

This post is for informational purposes only and will only be used to inform visitors about recent changes to access the Redden Family Cemetery. Any negative or argumentative comments will be deleted.
After several meetings with appointed board members in charge of the cemetery and DNR representatives the decision has been made to block the back end of the road coming from Country Club Dr. The common complaint in the past was the road was muddy and overgrown and was always in need of repair or needing to be paved. So the powers that be made the decision to use the campground road that is already paved as access to the cemetery. The park does not have the resources or funds to constantly fix a road that is only used for visitors to the cemetery when we already have a road that is much better suited for that. I have spoken with one of the board members about other issues that may arise, for instance I am aware of the fact the family does not want to have their private funeral services gawked upon by the general public. I understand this just like anyone would. I have informed him that in the event of a funeral during our camping season (April 1- November 1) and if the family would like I will personally open both back gates for you and close them when you are done just let me know the date and times of your service. During the winter months or our off-season the road through the campground will be open for funeral services to you I will just need some notice (at least 48 hours) so I can have time get a snow removal company to remove the snow and salt if needed or you can continue to use the back gates and I will open and close them for you. All other times when you would like to visit in the winter you can access the campground road by 4x4 vehicle or you can call your representatives to open the back gate or the park staff will open it for you if you just call and let us know when you are coming, we do not have the funds or equipment to clear the road every time it snows. At best, we have a volunteer that can just plow but we all know that can always go either way, it can help or make things worse. Weekend visitation would have to be scheduled by close of business on Friday so we can have someone here to open the gates for you if that’s the route you want to take.
The current situation with the road cones at the bottom of the campground road does not pertain to cemetery visitors this is for the general public only, please by all means the family was promised 365 day a year access and that is what we are giving you, just drive around the cones. I’ve also issued keys to both back gates to the 3 board members that came to the meetings. No copy’s to the gates keys can be made without approval from the Director of DNR. If you would like to obtain a key I can submit your written request to the the Director.
