We’re still thinking about an incredible day at PDXYZ!
Special Olympics Oregon athletes had the opportunity to take the stage in front of hundreds of business leaders and introduce some of the event’s accomplished speakers. They shared their stories, owned the spotlight, and showed exactly what inclusion can look like when people are given the opportunity to lead.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the experience possible. Our athletes didn’t just have a seat at the table. They were on the stage, in the spotlight, and helping shape the experience for everyone in the room.
That’s inclusion! It’s creating opportunities for people to contribute, lead, and be recognized for what they can do.
And, of course, we have to give a huge shoutout to Damian Lillard for being such a strong supporter of Special Olympics Oregon and for sharing the stage for an incredible conversation about leadership and teamwork.
We’re proud of our athletes for stepping up, showing up, and absolutely shining!
