We finished off the day yesterday with the August Birthday Party. We had amazing entertainment provided by Rachel Varayne Christofferson. The residents and staff sang along to lots of Dolly tunes. And of course there was cake! We can't wait to have Rachel and her husband back for our Halloween party on October 31st. Stay tuned for details!

Yesterday at Beaverton Hills we held our second annual Back To School Barbecue and Backpack giveaway for our staff and residents. On the grill were hamburgers and hot dogs cooked by members of the management team, as well as all the fixings. The children of the staff took home backpacks stuffed with school supplies and a few goodies.

Mark your calendars, September 10th, 2026 Beaverton Hills will be hosting its second annual Mediterranean Night. Dancing starts at 3:00 pm, followed by dinner at 4:30pm. Flyer with all the details and the menu are below. Hurry make your reservations so you won't miss all the fun!

How do you beat the heat? The residents of Beaverton Hills head to the coast! It was a beautiful day at the Oregon Coast. Our first stop was at the Tillamook Cheese Factory for some delicious ice cream. Then we traveled up the 101 to Tolovanna Park where we had lunch at Mo's and spent some time in the sun watching all the people on the beach. The weather could not have been nicer. All in all it was a perfect day away from the heat!

The staff at Beaverton HIlls Can turn a lazy Tuesday into a party at the drop of a hat. Thank you to Wolanda for singing and our amazing staff for providing the backup dancing!

Today the residents of Beaverton Hills experimented with a new painting technique, pour painting. The residents loved watching how the paint moved and changed on the canvas.

Just this last Saturday Beaverton Hills hosted our third annual Luau. We had delicious food cooked by our amazing kitchen staff under the direction of Wolanda, our incredible E.D. After dinner the students from Paradise of Samoa dance school entertained us with dances from all the islands of Samoa. We want to extend a huge thank you to all who donated to the Portland All Nation Canoe Family, the vendors who participated, all of the amazing dancers, our staff for working so hard to make the event run smoothly, and last but not least our residents and their families for bringing the laughs and smiles.
