M Closed: Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays In many cases an appointment can be set up to adopt an animal after hours or on days that we are closed. This is what Drew told us about her -
Meet Dozer! Lab/German Shorthair mix. She is one year old, not fixed yet (the shelter will pay for it to be done! If you adopt - send us a message or call the office). Good with dogs and kids and babies. High energy needs place to run. Has her first set of shots. She is housebroken and can use doggy door. She is super friendly. You can feed her next to other animals and I personally put my hand by her mouth feeding her. She shares toys too. she is just too hyper for us and I been sick for 7 months with Lyme disease so that why we need to rehome her. Thank you!

Thank you for supporting the animals at the shelter! She will be donating some of her money to the shelter pets!

This is what Daphne has to say about the cats:
We have several great barn cats available to good homes! All are vaccinated, appear healthy and are spayed or neutered. They had an outdoor caretaker and have gotten more used to people since they came inside and may get even more used to people in time. They also all lived together!

All kitties will need to get acclimated to their new place, and we can provide instructions and help with that! They will need food (even as mousers), water and good shelter. They have all been perfect litter box users.

They are based in Clare, MI but they do service Gladwin County.
They can do vetting services in your home - including home euthanasia services.
Until August, they can't do surgeries, dentals or x-rays but can do everything else. After August they will be able to do those things as well!
