We are excited to welcome your family to the family dinner project in partnership with NLCS, Purdue Extension-Lawrence County, and Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI). This will be an opportunity to enjoy a *free* meal (catered by Chartwells and NLCC culinary students), connect as a family over games and activities, learn about the importance of healthy nutritional habits, and win some great prizes!

This is a family friendly event so children of all ages are WELCOME! We will be serving chicken taco bowls with a variety of sides so come hungry! We can't wait to see you there :)

Registration closes September 30. Space is limited and registration is required!

📚 NLCS FAMILIES: Let’s prepare our kids for SUCCESS! ⭐

North Lawrence Community Schools is partnering with The Parent Project to offer a FREE evening for parents and caregivers of ALL NLCS students.

⏰ 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 Dollens Elementary School
903 Hoosier Avenue, Oolitic

This session will give parents and caregivers practical tools to help their children succeed both at home and at school. Topics will include improving school attendance, strengthening communication between home and school, creating structure at home, improving school performance, recognizing signs of trauma, and more.

And we want to make it as easy as possible for families to attend:
✅ The event is completely FREE
✅ FREE childcare will be provided by NLCS staff members
We know raising kids isn't always easy, and none of us have all the answers. This is an opportunity to learn, connect, and add a few more tools to your parenting toolbox.
