🎒✏️ Getting Ready for Kindergarten! ✏️🎒

Is your child entering kindergarten in an in-person public or private school setting for the 2026–2027 school year? Join us for a fun, hands-on week designed to help children feel more comfortable and confident as they prepare for the transition from home to the classroom.

Children will enjoy games, music, painting, hands-on activities, and opportunities for social interaction in a preschool-style setting. 🌈🎨🎵

📅 Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14
🕐 1:00–2:30 PM daily
📍 Everett Free Library
✅ Open to children entering kindergarten in an in-person public or private school setting
📝 Registration is required by August 1, 2026

📚 Hoopla Update

We’re thrilled to see how much our community is enjoying Hoopla! From movies and TV shows to audiobooks, comics, and music, it’s been wonderful to see this resource so widely used.

To help ensure we can continue offering Hoopla throughout the year, we’ve implemented a monthly usage limit to better manage costs and keep the service sustainable for all patrons.

Because Hoopla operates on a pay-per-use model, each checkout has a cost to the library. With increased demand, those costs can add up quickly. This adjustment helps us continue providing access while staying within our available funding.

Due to high demand, there may also be times when Hoopla is temporarily unavailable for checkouts later in the day. Access resets daily, so we encourage you to check back the next day if that happens.
