It was great to have Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary Rick Siger in Bedford to help us break ground on the Bette Brown Slayton Business Park and mark an important milestone for Bedford County.

Land is only one line on the site-selection checklist.

The Bette Brown Slayton Business Park is being developed across 44 acres into nine future sites, with access to I-99 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The next question: who will run the operation? Bedford County Technical Center provides hands-on training in manufacturing, welding, and other trades.

A site needs room to grow. A business needs people with the skills to grow with it.
