The 2026 Limestone Heritage Festival is almost here!

Make plans now to spend Saturday, June 6th in downtown Bedford celebrating the community's rich limestone heritage. The day will feature live entertainment, food trucks, craft and information vendors, the Bedford Farmers Market, a photography contest, limestone carving exhibits, and activities for all ages.

The fun begins in the morning and continues throughout the day, offering plenty of opportunities to shop, explore, enjoy great food, and connect with friends and neighbors.

And don't forget—the Limestone Heritage Festival Parade has moved to July 4th at Noon this year as part of America's 250th Birthday Celebration!

At the Bedford North Lawrence High School Interact Club’s last meeting for the school year, the Bedford Rotary Club presented the Interact Club members that were a part of the Class of 2026 with their royal blue cords to wear at graduation. These seniors were also given a Rotary coin, which displays the Rotary International Wheel and Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”, along with the Rotary 4-Way Test. We wish these graduates the best of luck in their upcoming endeavors, and hope that they will choose to be guided by Rotary’s ethical standards.

The Bedford Rotary Club recently enjoyed having Marcus Debro and Judy Witt as guest speakers. They shared information about Teachers Warehouse, an organization supported by multiple local Rotary Clubs.
Teachers Warehouse serves the educational and creative needs of children by obtaining donated supplies and equipment from businesses and individuals and distributing them FREE to teachers for use in schools operating under the authority of publicly-elected school boards in Brown, Greene, Lawrence, Monroe, and Owen counties, plus the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville.

The Bedford Rotary Club is proud to support Teachers Warehouse, and appreciated hearing from Marcus and Judy about the great things TW does!!
