Pool Safety Starts with Supervision

🏊‍♀️ Pool Safety Starts with Active Supervision
Drowning can happen quickly and quietly. Always designate a responsible adult to actively watch children when they are in or near water.

✅ Stay within arm's reach of young children.
✅ Avoid distractions like phones.
✅ Never assume someone else is watching.

Good Morning,

We will have another heavy rainfall threat that will carry a localized Flood potential, mainly along and north of I-64 later this evening. We are in a level 2 (Slight Risk) for excessive rainfall across southeast Indiana and north central Kentucky. A Flood Watch has also been issued.

The good news is that this should be the last round of heavy rainfall for a bit as we enter an overall quieter period of weather going into late week and the weekend.

There is a Marginal Risk for severe storms and the potential for flash flooding in heavy rain today and tomorrow.

Good morning!

Multiple rounds of showers are expected today, with the first round beginning this morning. Scattered strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening, and storms that produce heavier rainfall could lead to localized flooding.

A Flood Watch is in effect across the northeastern portions of our area due to the potential of localized rainfall amounts of 2+ inches. The watch is in effect from 8 am EDT this morning to 8 am EDT Saturday morning.
