We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of our dear friend, Matt Burton. 💜

Matt was an incredible person who we consider ourselves very lucky to have known. He was friendly, passionate, and had a spirit of going all-in for the people and causes he cared about. As Aaron's best buddy, Matt always looked forward to getting together at trivia nights and other social events. He was a true friend who was consistently there for the people around him.

At this year's Exeter Friendship Walk, Matt was the #1 overall fundraiser, showing the community his incredible dedication, excitement, and an attitude to never give up.

Join us for Best Buddies Karaoke!🎤 On Saturday August 29th at 2pm we are hosting an afternoon of singing, dancing, and friendship with Karaoke!

If you've been wanting to attend one of our events, this is a great one to try! It's no pressure, judgement-free, and you can get involved with an inclusive community of adults with and without disabilities. Anyone is welcome - even if this is your first time joining an event! We'd love to meet you!

The school year is about to begin, which means it's time for another year of the Best Buddies Ambassador Academy!🎉

The Academy is an inclusive leadership program and the official pathway to becoming a Best Buddies Ambassador. Through monthly sessions from September to May, participants build confidence and leadership skills while exploring topics like public speaking, self-advocacy, inclusion, teamwork, and personal branding.📝

Upon graduation, participants earn an Inclusive Leadership Certificate and qualify for additional leadership opportunities at the local, state, and global levels.🌎

WHO CAN APPLY?
⭐Program members (school, Citizens) that are 14 and older, with or without an intellectual or developmental disability!
💜Friends that are affiliated with BB programs, including volunteers, parents and family members, Board members, and advisors.
💪Current Ambassadors looking to refresh their leadership skills.

The Champion of the Year Gala is one of the most spectacular events of the year.💛 With heartwarming mission moments, breathtaking entertainment, exclusive auction items, and of course, impressive and generous Champion-Mission Partner teams - it is a night guests won't soon forget.✨

The campaign kicks off next week for this year's Champion class, and we cannot wait to meet our teams! At our Kickoff event, Champions meet their Mission Partner for the first time, and begin planning their fundraising campaign with the goal of being crowned the Champion of the Year at the Gala on November 14th.👑

Just two weeks ago we were arriving on campus, getting our matching t-shirts on, and preparing to have the most epic weekend ever at Best Buddies Leadership Conference!🔥

It was action-packed, education-filled, and we made friendships that will change us forever 💜
