Whether you're a seasoned player or just learning the ropes, you'll enjoy lively games, great conversation, and the chance to make new friends over classic tiles. The library will provide some scrabble sets, but please bring your own if possible. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Bedford Public Library Friends are looking for pumpkin unloading helpers.🎃 The semitruck full of pumpkins is scheduled to be at the Library on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮 𝘁𝗼 𝟲 𝗽.𝗺. & 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟭 𝗮.𝗺. 𝘁𝗼 𝟰 𝗽.𝗺. Unloading will take several hours, but the more help we have, the less time it’ll take!

Come and go as you please. Even helping for an hour is greatly appreciated. We will provide water and snacks. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

📚 A Legacy Written in Love

The Bedford Public Library honors Dolly Parton and the remarkable legacy she created, one book and one young reader at a time.

Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write, Dolly launched the Imagination Library in 1995 to provide children in her East Tennessee hometown with a free, specially selected book each month. Her vision grew far beyond those Tennessee hills, reaching children from birth to age 5 in five countries.

More than 318 million books have been mailed since the program began, helping families share stories, discover new worlds, and dream a little bigger.

As Dolly said, “The seeds of these dreams are often found in books.” What an extraordinary garden she helped grow. ❤️

𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝘁 𝟱 𝗽.𝗺. ☁️ What is "the cloud?" How does it work? How do I get one? Why is everyone using it? This demonstration designed for beginners aims to define "cloud storage", explore its uses, and briefly discuss some of the cloud storage brands. Some notable cloud storage options include Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, and OneDrive.

First come, first served. Space is limited. This is a demonstration, so computers will not be provided, but guests are invited to bring their own devices if they wish.
