StoneGate Arts & Education Center serves as a community learning/gathering center, hosting day and evening classes for three universities, community events, and workforce development programs. StoneGate Arts & Education Center serves as Lawrence County's community learning center and currently provides accommodation to three schools: Oakland City University-Bedford, Ivy Tech Community College, and
Vincennes University. The newly constructed state-of-the-art facility sits adjacent to the Lawrence County Courthouse Square and features 10 classrooms, two computer labs, which double as classrooms, an instructors' workroom/student assessment room, and Brinegar Hall, a spacious auditorium and black box theater, featuring cutting-edge audio-video equipment. The facility serves as a site for workforce development, job training, meetings, professional training, and courses presented by a variety of educational, non-profit, community, and governmental organizations within our community.
