🫧 We're bursting with excitement for our foam party with Big Time Bubbles! Meet us on the lawn on Saturday, June 13th for a poppin' good time. 🫧

(If you want to check out books after your bubble fun, please bring a towel and change of clothes. Turns out the books aren't big fans of bubble baths. 🤷‍♀️)

Bee Cave City Council Meeting Recap
June 9, 2026

Mayor Pro Tem Clark and Council Members Hight, Crumbley, Willott were present.

The meeting began with announcements about the upcoming July 1 Birthday Party for America celebration and recognition of the City's recent Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) award.

Council unanimously approved amendments to the Bee Cave Development Corporation (BCDC) bylaws to align with current administrative practices. The changes clarify the duties of the BCDC secretary and adjust board member term dates so that terms will expire on September 30 and new terms will begin on October 1.

Following executive session, Council made several appointments:

The WTCPUA is repairing a water leak along Bee Cave Parkway. As a result, one eastbound lane of Bee Cave Parkway will be closed from 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, until 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11.

The leak is located beneath the sidewalk along Bee Cave Parkway between Vista Ridge and Galleria Oaks. Portions of the sidewalk will need to be removed to complete the repair and will be replaced afterward.

Please note that the sidewalk in this area will remain closed for several days while repairs and restoration work are completed. Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution.

The City received the Award of Honor for Bee Cave on Ice from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO)! ⭐️

The award category is for best recurring special event in cities with a population under 100,000.

The community is invited to celebrate America’s 250th birthday on Wednesday, July 1, from 1–3 p.m. at Bee Cave City Hall.🎉

Community members can share their hopes and wishes for our country on a special Wish Wall, with notes preserved in a time capsule for the future. The event will also include a patriotic arts and crafts activity and free popsicles. 🇺🇸

This is a free event, but registration is requested to help ensure enough supplies for everyone.

Our first Yoga in the Park on May 2 was a hit, so it is back by popular demand! 🤩

The City is partnering with Hill Country Indoor again to bring Yoga in the Park for all residents! 🧘🏼‍♀️🌳

Wether you're new to yoga or a long-time yogi, all experience levels are welcome.
