The library will be celebrating our 20th anniversary on October 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and we want to see you there. Take a walk down memory lane with us and enjoy crafts, live music, giveaways, and, of course, cake. We'll share more details as the date gets closer, but add this info to your calendar and plan on helping us celebrate the chapters we've finished and the chapters to come.

The final numbers have been tabulated for the 2022 Rolling Sculpture Car Show reflecting a net gain for our cause, the non-profit Friends of the Bee Cave Public Library.

We want to extend our thanks to:
The many volunteers that helped plan, organize and pull the event off.
The generous sponsors who contributed financial support and time.
The service minded vehicle owners who brought their beloved cars and trucks for all to enjoy.
The Hill Country Galleria Management for making the facility available and their outstanding support.
The Library Staff and members of the Friends of the Bee Cave Public Library
Our Celebrity Announcers S**g Arrington and Bob Fonseca for all they do to contribute to our success.
The 12 Kings Car Club for their outstanding day-of-show support.

We have already started working on the 2023 RSCS and hope to replicate this years success, plus identify ways to improve and make the event more entertaining and enjoyable for all.

Lake Travis Reads is one month away! Save the date for Thursday, October 27th for an evening with our fave local humorist, Aarons, featuring her upcoming memoir, I'm Wearing Tunics Now: One Growing Older, Better, and a Hell of a Lot Louder. THANK YOU from the Teen Advisory Board! Thanks to the generous donations, Friends of Bee Cave Public Library, were able to fully fund the TAB project for Foundation Communites' Southwest Trails Learning Center. Your donations will go towards a library for their after school program and ensures that these kids will have access to fun and useful books. The TAB will set up the library later this week, so stay tuned for pics from that project!
