The Bee Cave Police Department is a highly professional law enforcement agency located just 17 miles west of the City of Austin, Texas. The BCPD page was created to deliver information to the community on current crime trends, community events, safety and security tips, and issues relevant to recruit the citizens of Bee Cave and Lake Travis into a partnership with the BCPD to identify and

WARRANT ARREST / VIOLATE PROTECTIVE ORDER: On 08/24/2026, Bee Cave officers conducted a traffic stop in the 13700 block of Ladera. The driver was arrested and booked into Travis County Jail on an active warrant and for violating a protective order.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED: On 08/24/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 12100 block of Bee Caves Rd. The driver was discovered to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to Travis County Jail.

WARRANT ARREST OUT OF JURISDICTION: On August 25, 2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 13600 block of State Highway 71 for a traffic infraction, use of equipment not authorized on public roadway. Driver was found to have an OUT OF JURISDICTION WARRANT Class A bond forfeiture from Port Lavaca, Texas. Driver was found to not have insurance for the motor vehicle. Citation issued and arrested for the warrant. Driver was transported to Travis County Central Booking.

INFORMATION REPORT/MISSING PERSON: On 08/25/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 14700 block of Marchesa Dr regarding a missing person. The person was located and a report was generated for this incident.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED: On 8/27/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 15100 block of State Highway 71 to assist Travis County Sheriff's with a report of a vehicle driving erratically and striking the median. Upon further investigation, the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

NO INSURANCE: On 08/27/2026 Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration 10/24. Upon making contact with driver he advised he did not have a driver's license or insurance for the vehicle. The vehicle was towed for no insurance, a report was generated.

THEFT: On 08/27/26 Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to a theft report at 12400 block of State Highway 71. Officers spoke with loss prevention who advised a repeat offender stole merchandise. A report was generated.

THEFT: On 08/28/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 13500 block of Galleria Cir in reference to a theft report. Required information was gathered and investigation is pending.

TRAFFIC STOP/WARRANT SERVICE: On 08/29/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 14400 block of State Highway 71. The driver was found to have an active warrant. The driver was transported to Travis County Jail.

COLLISION: On 08/29/2026 Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 12400 block of State Hwy 71 for a collision where an involved party left the scene. Investigation pending.

INFORMATIONAL REPORT: On 08/29/2026 Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of RR 620 S in reference to a prior disturbance that was no longer active. Required information was gathered and informational report was generated for documentation purposes.

RECKLESS DRIVER: On 8/29/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to a report of reckless driving. Both vehicles were located. The subject vehicle was stopped and the driver provided information. The victim returned to the area and spoke with officer. Investigation in progress.

TRAFFIC STOP/DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED: On 8/30/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to traveling at a high rate of speed near the 15100 block of State Highway 71. Upon further investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to jail.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED: On 08/30/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 15100 block of Hamilton Pool Rd. The driver was discovered to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was taken into custody and booked into Travis County Jail.

TOWED VEH-NO INSURANCE: On 08/30/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 11900 block of Hwy 71 for a traffic violation. The driver was found to be operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and proof of insurance. The vehicle was impounded due to lack of insurance, and the driver was cited for multiple violations.

PEACE OFFICER EMERGENCY DETENTION: On 08/17/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 13400 block of Bee Cave Parkway regarding an ongoing disturbance. An individual was placed on emergency detention and transported to the hospital.

COLLISION INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: On 8/17/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 12500 block of State Highway 71 for a report of a complainant's vehicle being struck and the other vehicle fleeing from the scene without exchanging information. Investigation ongoing.

FRAUD: On 08/18/2026, Bee Cave Officers met with a complainant in the police department lobby regarding a possible insurance fraud case. An offense report was generated.

POSS DANG DRUG, POSS CS PG 1, POSS CS PG 1-B, ABANDON OR ENDANGERING DISABLED INDIVIDUAL: On 08/18/2026, Bee Cave Officers were conducting a sector check within the 12900 block of Shops Parkway and located a male subject who appeared to be in distress. A female subject was located and placed in custody after further investigation.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD: On 08/19/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the Bee Cave Police Dept in reference to a Credit Card Fraud call. Required information was gathered and report was generated.

THEFT: On 08/17/2026, Bee Cave Officers received a report of a prior theft that occurred within the 12400 block of Bee Caves Rd. A report was generated.

TRAFFIC STOP/ARREST: On 08/21/26, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 12600 block of W SH 71. During an investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The driver was placed into custody.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On 08/23/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop within the 12800 block of State Highway 71. It was discovered that the operator of the vehicle was in possession of drug paraphernalia. The operator was issued a citation and released from the scene.

CITY ORDINANCE/VEHICLE TOW: On 08/23/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop within the 11000 block of State Highway 71. The operator of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license and no proof of financial responsibility. Officers towed the vehicle and the operator was released from the scene after being issued multiple citations.

THEFT W/ PRIOR: On 08/10/2026, Bee Cave Officer was dispatched to a Theft prior call at 12900 block of Shops Parkway. Warrant provided to Dispatch for entry.

THEFT: On August 10th, 2026, Bee Cave Officer responded to the Bee Cave Police Department regarding a walk-in/public service call involving a firearm. Firearm was located and returned. No charges filed.

POSSESSION OF MA*****NA: On 08/11/26, Bee Cave Officers responded to the 12000 Block of Colleyville Dr. in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located, and upon further investigation, it was discovered the driver was in possession of ma*****na. The driver was arrested and transported to the Travis County Jail.

MOTORIST ASSIST/DWI: On 08/11/2026, Bee Cave Officers arrived at the 11500 block of SH 71 to aid a motorist. After an investigation, the driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to Travis County Jail.

CITY ORDINANCE VIOLATION: On 08/12/2026 Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 12600 block of Galleria Circle for a traffic infraction (expired registration). The driver was issued several citations, and the vehicle was impounded due to the lack of insurance.

POSS DANGEROUS DRUG: On 08/12/2026 Bee Cave Officers were monitoring routine traffic eastbound SH 71 and conducted a traffic stop within the 12400 blk of SH 71. Further Investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of dangerous drugs and was placed into custody.

TRAFFIC STOP / WARRANT SERVICE: On 8/14/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop at the 12900 block of State Highway 71 for a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. During the traffic stop it was discovered that the operator had a warrant for their arrest. The subject was transported to jail.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE: On 08/14/2026, Bee Cave officers were dispatched to the 13400 block of Bee Cave Parkway in reference to a burglary of a vehicle call. Required information was gathered and a report was generated.

DWI>.15/POCS PG 1< 1G: On 08/15/26, Bee Cave Officers made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the 3400 block of RR 620 S. Upon further investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated and in possession of a controlled substance. The driver was arrested and transported to the Travis County Jail.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On 08/15/26, Bee Cave Officers made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the 3400-block RR 620 S. Upon further investigation, it was determined the passenger was intoxicated and a danger to herself or others. The passenger transported to the Travis County Jail.

PURSUIT: On 08/15/2026, Bee Cave Officers were patrolling the 15500 Hamilton Pool Road when the officer observed a vehicle utilized the center turn lane as a passing lane. The officer initiated a traffic stop; however, the vehicle began to evade the officer. Officer terminated the pursuit and had dispatch inform the appropriate agency for that area

LEAVING THE SCENE OF ACCIDENT: On 08/03/2026 Bee Cave Officers were advised of a vehicle that left the scene of an accident. Officers provided the complainant with a case number and completed a report.

THEFT OF PROPERTY: On 08/03/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 12600 block of Hill Country Blvd for a report of a vehicle that had been stolen. Ongoing investigation.

MISSING PERSON: On 08/05/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of S FM 620 for a report of a missing person. The individual has been entered into the system as missing. Ongoing investigation.

ASSAULT: On 08/05/2026, Bee Cave Officers responded to the 3500 block of RR 620 S for an assault. Officers arrived on the scene and a report was generated.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS/BURGLARY OF BUILDING/THEFT OF MATERIAL: On 08/05/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 13600 block of State Highway 71 regarding a suspicious person who was trespassing on private property. After an investigation, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to Travis County Jail

The suspect had left the scene prior to officers arriving. After investigating, officers were able to identify the suspect, warrants for their arrest were issued. Officers later located the suspect and took them into custody.

Beginning Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the Bee Cave Police Department will transition to a new 911 dispatch provider.

🚨 For emergencies, continue to call 911.

📞 For non-emergency police assistance, call 512-767-6650 and select Option 1.

Examples of when to use the non-emergency line:
• Reporting a crime that has already occurred
• Following up on a previous police report
• Reporting a nuisance complaint
• Requesting a welfare check

Selecting Option 1 routes the call directly to the non-emergency dispatch line that is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
