The Bee Cave Police Department is a highly professional law enforcement agency located just 17 miles west of the City of Austin, Texas. The BCPD page was created to deliver information to the community on current crime trends, community events, safety and security tips, and issues relevant to recruit the citizens of Bee Cave and Lake Travis into a partnership with the BCPD to identify and

suppress criminal activity. What the BCPD Facebook is not. This page is not a forum to express your negative personal views of the Bee Cave Police Department or the City of Bee Cave. There is a formal process for addressing those issues as we believe in delivery of the upmost professional police services to this community. ATTACK BY DOG:
On 5/19/26, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Avispa Way for a report of an elderly female who was attacked by three dogs. An investigation is ongoing.

DUTIES ON STRIKING AN UNATTENDED VEHICLE:
On 05/19/2026. Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the Bee Cave Police Department lobby for a report of a collision in which the other party left the scene. A report was generated and an investigation is ongoing,

AGENCY ASSIST:
On 05/20/2026, Bee Cave Officers responded to an assist EMS in the 11800 block of Bee Cave Road in reference to an animal bite. A report was generated.

CITY ORDINANCE-VEH IMPOUNDMENT:
On 05/20/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Vista Ridge for a traffic infraction. The driver was issued several citations, and the vehicle was impounded for lack of insurance.

TRAFFIC STOP/VEH IMPOUNDMENT:
On 05/20/26, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 13200 block of Bee Cave Pkwy. During an investigation, the driver was found to be operating the vehicle without a driver’s license or insurance. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was released with citations.

MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY DETENTION:
On 05/22/2026, Bee Cave Officers responded to a suicidal juvenile call. The juvenile was transported by a parent to the hospital for a voluntary mental health evaluation.

WARRANT ARREST:
On 05/21/26, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 13000 block of W SH 71. During the stop, the driver was found to have an active warrant for their arrest. The driver was booked into the Travis County Jail for the outstanding warrant.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA:
On 05/21/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 5000 block of Palermo Drive for a traffic infraction. Through investigation, it was determined that the driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia and was given a citation.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS NOTICE:
On 05/21/2026, Bee Cave Officers responded to the Hill Country Galleria regarding a male operating an electric motorcycle on the property. Upon arrival, officers located both the motorcycle and the individual involved. The subject was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and removed from the property.

MISSING PERSON:
On 5/22/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 12600 block of Bee Cave Parkway for a report of a missing person. A missing person's report has been filed.

POSSESSION OF TO***CO:
On 05/21/2026, Bee cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 14000 block of Bee Cave Pkwy. The driver was found to be in possession of to***co products.

EMERGENCY DETENTION:
On 5/24/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 12600 block of Shops Parkway for a report of a suicidal subject. The subject was transported to a medical center for evaluation.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA:
On 05/23/26 Bee Cave Police officers responded to a call for service in the 13000 block of Galleria Circle. One person was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

⚠️ The Lake Travis ISD Police Department will host Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) for school-based law enforcement officers and other first responders on Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at Bee Cave Elementary School.

🚨 Please note, community members should expect an increased presence of law enforcement vehicles and personnel on campus during training hours. This is only a training exercise.

REPEATED VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER:
On 05/11/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in 14200 block of State Highway 71. Upon investigation, the passenger was found to have a protective order against the driver. The passenger was arrested and booked into Travis County Central Booking.

FOUND PROPERTY
On 05/11/2026, Bee Cave Officers were closing Central Park a found a car seat that was left behind. The car seat was taken and a report was generated. If your car seat is lost, please contact the Bee Cave Police Department.

CITY ORDANANCE VIOLATION
On 05/12/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 13000 block of W SH 71 on a vehicle. Upon further investigation, the driver was found to be operating without insurance. The vehicle was towed and the driver was released with citations.

TRAFFIC STOP/PODP
On 05/12/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 12300 block of Bee Cave Parkway. Upon further investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was cited and released.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
On 5/12/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of RM 620 regarding a suspicious person. The suspect was arrested, cited, and booked into Travis County Jail for Public Intoxication.

COLLISION/LTS
On 05/18/26, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of S FM 620 in reference to a collision in which one involved party left the scene. An officer arrived and investigated, locating information for the suspect. The suspect was contacted and advised to return to the scene of the accident. Parties exchanged
information and the victim declined prosecution.

TRAFFIC STOP/ POSS DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
On 05/12/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Vista Ridge for a traffic infraction (expired registration). During an investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was released with citations.

TRAFFIC STOP/VEH IMPOUNDMENT
On 05/13/26, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 12800 block of W SH 71. During an investigation, the driver was found to be operating the vehicle without insurance, a seatbelt, expired registration, and a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded and citations were issued.

TRAFFIC STOP/DWI
On 05/15/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 15500 block of Hwy 71. The driver was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail.

On 5/15/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 16600 block of SH 71. During an investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of a dangerous drug. The driver was arrested and

On 05/15/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 10900 block of State Highway 71 for an offense (displaying a license plate for another vehicle). The driver admitted to intentionally placing a wrong plate on the vehicle to avoid paying title and registration fees. The driver was placed in custody and
transported to Travis County Central Booking.

On 05/16/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 3400 block of FM 620 S for a traffic infraction (expired registration). The driver was issued several citations, and the vehicle was impounded for lack of insurance.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/ARREST
On 05/17/26, Bee Cave Officers located a suspicious person in the 3400 block of S FM 620. The subject was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and intoxicated in a public place. The subject was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail.

SUSPICIOUS VEH/ARREST
On 05/17/26, Bee Cave Officers located a suspicious vehicle in the 3500 block of South FM 620. During an investigation, a male was found to be intoxicated in a public place, in possession of ma*****na, and a dangerous drug. The male was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail.

OPEN CONTAINER/POSS DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
On 5/17/2026, Bee Cave Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 13300 block of State Highway 71. Upon further investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and multiple open containers of alcohol. The paraphernalia was seized and the driver was cited and released from the scene.

TRAFFIC STOP/VEH IMPOUNDMENT
On 05/17/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 12400 block of State Highway for a traffic infraction (speeding). The driver was issued a citation, and the vehicle was impounded for lack of insurance.

On 5/4/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 12400 block of State Highway 71 for a report of a traffic collision. Prior to arriving on the scene, one of the vehicles had fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

On 5/7/26, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 12700 block of Shops Pkwy in reference to an active domestic disturbance. A criminal investigation was initiated by officers, and one male was placed into custody. The male was booked in to the Travis County Jail for DOC (offensive language) and DOC (public urination).

On 04/27/26, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration. Upon further investigation, the driver was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail for Possession of Ma*****na, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with a Govt. Record.

WARRANT SERVICE:
On 04/28/26, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop at the 12600 blk of Shop's Pkwy. Upon further investigation, the driver was confirmed to have warrants out of another jurisdiction. The driver was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail.

DWI:
On 04/28/26, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to a Minor Collision located at 12100 FM 2244. Officers arrested and booked the driver into the Travis County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE:
On 4/30/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 14400 block of Hwy 71 for a report of a motor vehicle collision where one vehicle had fled the scene after striking the complainants vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.

RECKLESS DRIVER-DWI:
On 4/30/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 14200 block of Hamilton Pool Rd on report of reckless driver swerving into oncoming traffic. Officers stopped the vehicle and found the driver to be intoxicated. Due to medical concerns, he was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital. An arrest warrant is pending.

CITY ORD VIOL-VEH IMPOUND:
On 04/30/26, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 3400 block of S FM 620. During the stop, the driver was found to be operating the vehicle without a driver license or insurance. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was released with citations.

PURSUIT:
On 04/30/2026, Bee Cave Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver failed to stop and fled the area. The vehicle was later identified, and the investigation is ongoing.

DWI OPEN CONTAINER:
On 04/30/26, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 13200 block of Bee Cave Pkwy and during an investigation, the driver was found to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated/Open Alcohol Container.

THEFT OF PROPERTY:
On 5/1/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 12900 Block of Shops Parkway for a reported theft. A traffic stop was initiated on the suspect vehicle. The suspect was arrested and booked into Travis County Jail for theft.

COLLISION INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE:
On 05/01/2026, Bee Cave Officers responded to a collision leaving the scene that occurred within the 3400 blk of RR 620 S. Officers checked the area and located a license plate for the suspect’s vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.

ASSAULT FAMILY VIOLENCE:
On 05/01/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Pyrenees Pass in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, officers contacted both parties involved. After conducting the investigation, officers placed the male subject into custody and booked him into the Travis County Jail without incident for assault.

MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL/TO***CO/VEHICLE IMPOUNDMENT:
On 05/02/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 11800 block of State Highway 71 for a traffic offense. All occupants were in possession of alcohol and to***co products. Citations were issued, and guardians were contacted to take custody of the individuals. The vehicle was impounded due to a lack of insurance.

PUBLIC INTOX:
On 05/02/2026, Bee Cave Officers stopped a pedestrian in the 10900 block of SH-71. The suspect was arrested and booked into Travis County Jail for public intoxication.

INFORMATION REPORT:
On 05/03/2026, Bee Cave Officers were dispatched to the 15500 block of Hwy 71 for a disturbance. Officers spoke with all parties involved and an investigation is ongoing.

WARRANT SERVICE:
On 05/02/2026, Bee Cave Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after being alerted to the driver having an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed and the driver was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail.

Fri. May 1 at 5:30pm - Bee Cave police are no longer directing traffic. A TxDOT crew is onsite and working to repair the traffic signals at Ladera Dr/620.

Fri. May 1 at 4pm - Please be advised the traffic lights at Ladera Dr/620 are not working. Bee Cave Police are directing traffic until the lights are functioning again.
