Our Girls on the Run season has officially come to an end. The girls completed their 5k on Saturday and did a wonderful job! Thank you to all the families and school staff that came to support the girls and celebrate their hard work. Thank you to Beecher Lion’s Club for mapping out the course and volunteering during the race, and to Beecher EMA for keeping our runners safe.

Each season the team completes a Community Impact Project, and this year they chose to beautify the school courtyard. The girls worked as a team to clean the courtyard and plant flowers that were generously donated by Windmill Acres. Thank you so much to Windmill Acres for donating the plants as well as helping us to plan the clean up; your support means the world to us! The courtyard is now a welcoming place for staff to use as a space to eat lunch, use for an outside classroom, or even eat lunch with their students.

Great season girls!!
