The Booster Club is selling two signs for the 26-27 school year fundraisers. The first is for the BHS Senior Class and the 2nd is for ANY student at BHS or BJHS that is involved in any sport, band, choir, or theatre.

Reminders from the nurses:

Kindergarten, 6th, 9th grades/Transfer Students/Students attending an Illinois School for first time:
State of Illinois Certificate of Health Exam and up to date vaccine requirements are to be completed and turned into school by October 15th to avoid school exclusion per Illinois School Code.

Grade 12:
Proof of Second Meningococcal Vaccine (MCV4) is to be completed and turned in by October 15th to avoid school exclusion per Illinois School Code.

Kindergarten/Students attending an Illinois School for the first time:
Illinois Eye Exam form completed by Optometrist/Ophthalmologist by October 15th.

If you have not already, please send in your student's inhalers and epi-pens with the completed Medication Authorization Form.

If you and your doctor feel that your student will need any medications (prescription AND/OR over-the-counter) throughout the school year, a medication authorization form needs to be completed by your physician and be on file at the school.

Attention Beecher parents of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls! It is that time of year for Girls on the Run! We are trying a Fall season this time around instead of Spring.

Girls on the Run is a national program that teaches valuable life lessons, builds self-esteem, and encourages physical fitness. On 8/24, girls in grades 3-5 will be coming home with this flyer, but you can start signing up now!

What a race day for BJHS Cross country! Sydney placed 10th in the Girls 2-mile run and brought home a medal. On the boys side, Easton placed 2nd in the 2-mile run and Jacob placed 11th, both earning medals. To top it all off, the Beecher boys took 3rd place as a team! We are so proud of all our Bobcats for giving it their all and representing Beecher with pride!
