☕👮‍♂️🍿 Coffee with a Cop… with a twist! 💙

We had plans to celebrate National Coffee with a Cop, but our local officers had training this morning. No worries—we traded the coffee for popcorn and Coke and still had an amazing time! 🍿🥤

There were plenty of laughs, great conversations, and even better stories shared. We’re always grateful for the opportunity to connect with the officers who serve and protect our community every day.

A huge THANK YOU to our local law enforcement for stopping by and spending some time with our Walmart family! 💙👮‍♂️

Today, August 22, we remember Beeville Police Officer Matthew “Adam” Jimenez.

Adam was only 24 years old when he passed away on August 22, 2021. Born in Grand Prairie on July 3, 1997, Adam found his calling in serving others as a police officer with the City of Beeville. He loved protecting the community and the people he served.

Outside of the badge, Adam enjoyed the simple things that made life meaningful—cooking, playing video games, fishing, and bird hunting. He was a son, a friend, a brother in blue, and a member of our Beeville family.

Five years later, his absence is still felt. But so is his memory.

Today, we remember Adam not simply for the way we lost him, but for the life he lived and the people he touched along the way.

Please join us in keeping the Jimenez family and all of Adam’s loved ones in your thoughts today.

Rest easy, Adam.
You are remembered. You are missed. And you will never be forgotten. 💙
