Today is National Dog Day!

And we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by giving a little extra love to the pets who help their humans through some of life’s hardest moments.

Right now, SARC is in the middle of our Dog Days of Summer Appeal, raising funds to help survivors and their pets find safety, comfort, and a fresh start.

For many survivors, leaving an abusive home can also mean leaving behind a beloved pet. Your support helps make it possible for families to move forward without having to leave their furry family members behind.

So, while you’re giving your pup an extra treat, belly rub, or walk around the block, consider giving a little something to help a survivor and their pet, too.
