Eligible Harford County small businesses, farms, nonprofits affected by the April 19-21 freeze may be eligible for low-interest federal disaster loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) can help cover working capital needs such as payroll, fixed debts, accounts payable, and other bills that cannot be paid due to disaster-related losses, even if there was no physical damage. Eligible organizations may qualify for loans of up to $2 million, with terms of up to 30 years. Applications are due by January 26, 2027.
