Mrs. White, who said she found freedom in the skies, was one of the first black women to earn a pilot’s license in the United States.

It appears after some research, the lakes in Gutknecht Arrowhead Park didn't exist in 1937 according to the one aerial photo. The house wasn't built until 1942, and the 1955 aerial photo then shows the two lakes. By 1972, it would appear the smaller lake was gone.
