A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Car Show this past Saturday! Despite the heat, we had an incredible turnout, and we truly appreciate everyone who participatedā€”from the car owners and vendors to everyone who came out to enjoy the day.

Today, members of Station 53 joined Station 51 for joint training focused on water operations and pump operation.

This was a great mutual-aid training opportunity that allowed our newer firefighters to learn the fundamentals of water management and pump operations while giving our more experienced members an opportunity to refresh and sharpen their skills.

Training together strengthens our departments, builds confidence, and ensures we are prepared to work seamlessly alongside one another when the call comes.

At approximately 6:05 PM, the Belfast Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the Farmington Community, in conjunction with Farmington Fire and Chapel Hill Fire. Upon arrival, units encountered a large detached garage heavily involved in flames. Fire units worked expeditiously to safeguard the neighboring residence while simultaneously extinguishing the fire. We would like to extend special gratitude to Marshall EMS for ensuring the well-being and monitoring of all responders, as well as the MCSO for providing traffic control to ensure tankers could get in and out for water supply.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended and spent the day with us, unfortunately Mother Nature had different plans for our car show. However the afternoon turned out great, we had a good turn out tonight for our concert and appreciate everyone who donated and attended!
