There are quite a few decisions made recently by the City Council that have left swaths (sometimes large swaths) of our constituents disappointed, even disconsolate.

I want those in my ward to know that I will always do my best to hear all of you, and will carry forward your voice when it's not being heard. That may not always (or ever) change the outcome, but I will always listen, do my best to understand, and be empathetic.

Greetings, Belgrade community. Many of you have spoken to me about the fireworks situation. I strongly recommend you attend the public forum on the 22nd (next Monday) to share your concerns with the full council.

Looks like it’s been another 4 months since last I posted! I know life is overly busy right now but I’m going to have to step up my sharing.

Tonight’s council meeting was a long one and included a discussion about fireworks. This was a preliminary conversation and has led to a public comments “workshop” on August 22.

Many of you spoken individually to me about this topic but to really make your voices heard you’re going to need to attend that meeting.

Greetings, Belgrade. Can’t believe it’s been nearly 4 months since I last reached out to you. I am greatly enjoying this new role, and am feeling like I mostly have my feet underneath me. Just a few more days to vote!

If you never received your ballot in the mail, head to the Gallatin County Elections office to get one. And it's too late to put it in the mail, so please take it to one of the handy drop-off locations listed below.

Ballots for the general election MUST be received by 8 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 2. To ensure your ballot arrives on time to count, after today please drop it off IN PERSON rather than mailing. 👥

Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day but received after Election Day cannot be accepted. 🙅‍♀️

There are 5️⃣ locations in Gallatin County where you can drop your ballot off – Elections Department (Bozeman), Belgrade City Hall, City of Three Forks City Hall, Manhattan Town Hall, and Town of West Yellowstone Town Hall.

You can drop your ballots off at those locations between now and Nov. 1 from 8 AM to 5 PM, and on Election Day, Nov. 2, from 7 AM to 8 PM.

So very proud of the voters who made this happen. Our current library cannot provide all the services asked of it by children and families in this community, so the future library is a tremendous opportunity for Belgrade to meet its growing needs.
