We want to make you aware of an issue regarding the milk cartons served in our school cafeterias. Over the past few days, we have identified several batches of milk from our vendor deliveries that have spoiled prematurely or were delivered in compromised packaging.
Please be assured that student health and safety is our top priority.
What we are doing: We have immediately pulled the affected milk supply from all cafeteria lines. We are actively working with our distributors to investigate the cause and secure a safe, alternative supply.
Health and Safety: According to state health officials, this is a regional packaging and premature spoilage issue, and there have been no reports of illness. However, we have instructed all cafeteria staff and students to discard any milk that looks, smells, or tastes unusual.
Alternative Options: Starting immediately, we will provide alternative beverage options (such as water) during breakfast and lunch periods.
We apologize for this inconvenience and are working diligently to resolve the issue with our vendors. Thank you for your continued patience and support.
