We want to make you aware of an issue regarding the milk cartons served in our school cafeterias. Over the past few days, we have identified several batches of milk from our vendor deliveries that have spoiled prematurely or were delivered in compromised packaging.

Please be assured that student health and safety is our top priority.

What we are doing: We have immediately pulled the affected milk supply from all cafeteria lines. We are actively working with our distributors to investigate the cause and secure a safe, alternative supply.
Health and Safety: According to state health officials, this is a regional packaging and premature spoilage issue, and there have been no reports of illness. However, we have instructed all cafeteria staff and students to discard any milk that looks, smells, or tastes unusual.
Alternative Options: Starting immediately, we will provide alternative beverage options (such as water) during breakfast and lunch periods.

We apologize for this inconvenience and are working diligently to resolve the issue with our vendors. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

Happy New School Year! Go Panthers!

08/28/2026

Dear Saddle Peak Families,

Thank you for helping us have such a wonderful first few days of school! It has been so great to have our Panther Cubs back in the building, learning, reconnecting with friends, and settling into their new routines. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and support as we kick off another great year at Saddle Peak!
As we continue getting back into the swing of our school routines, here are a few important reminders to help keep arrival and dismissal safe and running smoothly.

๐Ÿพ Morning Drop-Off
Please remember that students may not be dropped off before 7:45 AM. Staff supervision begins at 7:45, so students need to remain with an adult until that time.
If you are dropping your child off from a vehicle, please stay in your car and use the designated drop-off lane. For everyone's safety, we cannot have families parking and walking through the parking lot during morning drop-off.
Please also pull all the way forward toward the front of the school before letting your child out. This allows us to unload more vehicles at once and helps keep traffic moving.

๐Ÿพ Afternoon Pick-Up
We are all still getting back into the rhythm of afternoon pick-up, students, staff, and families included! Thank you for your patience and grace as we get back into the routine. We know the process will continue to get quicker and smoother as everyone becomes familiar with it.

If you need to pick your child up before the end of the school day, please plan to do so before 3:00 PM. After 3:00, our office and classrooms are preparing for dismissal, and it becomes difficult to call students out during that transition.

โฐ Friday Reminder: We dismiss at 2:15 PM every Friday! Please make sure your child and anyone responsible for picking them up knows about our earlier Friday dismissal time.
๐Ÿ“… Upcoming Dates
September 7 โ€” No School

September 10 โ€” Picture Day ๐Ÿ“ธ

Thank you again for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our Saddle Peak community. These first few days have been a great reminder of how special our school community is, and we are excited for the year ahead!

Thank you for your patience, your partnership, and for helping us keep our Panther Cubs safe.

Have a great weekend!
