Belgrade, it’s time to bring out your best pie recipe! 🥧

New to the annual Belgrade Montana Fall Festival this year is a pie contest at the Belgrade Senior Center, and we’re looking for bakers ready to claim some serious bragging rights.

Fruit, custard, or cream. Flaky crust, lattice top, crumb topping, or that family recipe you refuse to share. If you make a great homemade pie, this is your chance to put it to the test!

The competition is open to both youth and adults, with prizes for the best fruit, cream, and custard pies in each division.

Bring your masterpiece to the Belgrade Senior Center, 92 E. Cameron Ave., on Saturday, Sept. 19. Entries will be accepted from 10:30 AM to 1 PM.

The crust and filling must be homemade, so leave the store-bought shortcuts at home. Judging is anonymous and based on flavor, crust, appearance, texture and consistency, and overall impression.

Pick your best recipe, dust off that rolling pin, and come help us make Belgrade’s first Fall Festival pie contest a sweet one. 😋

Big things are taking shape at Mayfair Meadows! 🚧 It’s exciting to see the work underway and the master plan beginning to come to life with this first step of construction of a bike pump track. 🚴 We can’t wait to watch this project grow and share the progress along the way!
