Today we had our End of Summer Reading & Back to School Party! We had facepainting, fun games, good food, and more. We also had Sheriff Hammonds from the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, Dr. Debra Windley, and Mr. Al Powell of IBX STEM as guest speakers. Thank you to everyone who joined us this summer!

Today was day one of our three day drone camp with IBX STEM! Everyone learned about different types of engines, how concepts such as thrust and lift work, and a little bit of history on aviation. Yesterday, we tried out the magic milk experiment to see what would happen if you combined dish soap, milk, and food coloring in a dish. We discovered that when we added the soap, the food coloring would move and create all sorts of different colors. Everyone had a great time trying to create new patterns in the milk!
