Bell Buckle Fire Department The Bell Buckle Fire Department was officially established in 1950 with James Elkins as Chief.

The Bell Buckle Volunteer Fire Department is located at 113 Main Street, just north of the downtown area. The Fire Department was officially established in 1950 with James Elkins as Chief. A new truck was purchased and housed at Chief Elkin’s business until a fire hall could be built in 1953. This was the nucleus upon which the Bell Buckle Fire Department operated for several years.

Thanks to all involved in our Bell Buckle Volunteer Fire department 19th annual chili cook off. The people that help put this together as always are the best. This years judges were great and as you can see were dressed for the occasion. Also thanks to all the donations they were awesome.
