The heat is still going and so are we! Here's the upcoming trail events for the month of September. No registration is required to participate in the below events, except for the guided nature hike Sept. 29.
Water and snacks will be provided, friendly dogs are welcome on a leash as appropriate, and all events are weather dependent.

Rise and Run Bella Vista
📅 Friday, Sept. 4
🕣 7 a.m.
📍 Blowing Springs Trailhead, 651 Blowing Springs Rd., Bella Vista AR 72714
We will offer a 2- to 6-mile fun run or walk on the Blowing Springs Greenway or trails, your choice. Parking will be at the Blowing Springs Trailhead. Strollers are welcome for the Greenway option.

Coffee, Creeks, and Cardio

🕣 7 a.m.
📍 Bluebird Trailhead off Riordan Road
This is a 1 to 4-mile walk at Bluebird Park with the option to gather after at Grindstone Coffee. Parking will be at the Bluebird trailhead. Strollers are not recommended due to the terrain.

Walk in the Woods
📅 Wednesday, Sept. 15
🕣 6 p.m.
📍 105 Lancaster Dr., Bella Vista AR 72715
Two pace options are available for this hike, led by Hike NWA - an easy 2.8-mile route or an almost 3-mile moderate route with steeper climbs. Parking will be at Lake Avalon pavilion.

MTB Bella Vista
📅 Monday, Sept. 21
🕣 6 p.m.
📍 Pinion Drive, Bella Vista AR 72714
This is an intermediate-paced MTB ride. The route is approximately 6.5 miles with a leader and a sweeper. Participants should come prepared to ride self-supported and bring their own tools, water, tubes, and flat repair kit in case of unexpected mechanical issues during the ride. E-bikes are welcome. Parking will be near Pinion Creek falls off Pinion Drive.

Nature Discovery Hike (registration required)

📍 651 Blowing Springs Rd., Bella Vista AR 72714
Join a master naturalist to discover native trees and plants and identify some species you may not already know. This hike is limited to 15 participants and advanced registration is required. Look for the registration link to be posted during the week following the Labor Day holiday - first come, first served. Parking for this event will be at the Blowing Springs trailhead.
