Next Thursday we have two Summer Reading Program events happening at the Library:
From 10-11am come learn about archaeology, including the local archaeology of Samels Farm.
From 5-7pm come Crack the Code in a Time Capsule Challenge for Tweens

We had a great time yesterday with Sgt. Skrobecki and K9 Bricko!

As part of our Unearth a Story Summer Reading theme, we learned how police officers and K9s help "unearth a story" by tracking clues and finding answers. Our participants had lots of thoughtful questions, and we all learned something new.

Thank you to Sgt. Skrobekci and K9 Bricko for spending part of your day with us. We always enjoy the opportunity to learn from our local heroes—and Bricko is pretty popular too! 🐾

Join the Bellaire Historical Society today from 12-2pm at the Library for an opportunity to write your piece of Bellaire History. If you can't make it today, this event happens the third Thursday of each month.

Sunday is Father's Day, so Happy Father's Day to all you Dads and Father Figures out there! We celebrated today with stories about Dads, we made Father's Day cards that look like barbeque grills, and had cookies that look like hamburgers for snack. Thanks to Miss Diane and Miss Veta for another wonderful Story Hour. Thanks to Miss Veta for making the cute snacks.

Next week's theme is the beach! Join us each Tuesday at 10am for Story Hour.
