Team Titan and Friends,
On August 26, we celebrate the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. The passage of the 19th Amendment is a testament to the courage and tenacity of the women and men who challenged the nation to live up to its founding principles. The legacy of brave women who served and continue to serve further inspire us to strive for liberty and equality for all Americans.

Titans and friends,
Did you know that Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when Union soldiers brought the news of freedom to enslaved Black people in Galveston, Texas — two months after the Confederacy had surrendered? This was also about 2 1/2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation freed slaves in the Southern states.
Today Juneteenth was signed into law as a national holiday and etched in history the first new federal holiday since Martin Luther King Jr. Day was created in 1983.
What a great day for our country.
