Friends of the Bellaire Library

Friends of the Bellaire Library Est. in 1951 by the Bellaire Women's Civic Club. A not-for-profit organization, devoted to the establishment, support, and enhancement of the city library.

The Friends rely on volunteers for help with two or more outside book sales each year. We also sponsor an ongoing used-book sale at the Friends Corner inside the Library. The Friends support Bellaire Library projects that encourage reading and life long learning, and work to increase the use of the Bellaire Library through public awareness. Numerous programs and purchases for the Bellaire Library

have been made possible by the contributions of the Friends, including:
