๐ŸšŒ SCHOOL STARTS THIS THURSDAY the 13th! ๐ŸšŒ

As our students head back to school, we want to remind everyone to slow down, stay alert, and watch for children waiting for and getting on and off school buses.

๐Ÿšจ When a school bus has its red lights flashing, STOP! ๐Ÿšจ

Please remember:
โ€ข Watch carefully for children near bus stops and residential streets.
โ€ข Slow down and be prepared to stop when approaching a school bus.
โ€ข Stop for flashing red bus lights and remain stopped until the lights are no longer flashing and the bus begins moving.
โ€ข Give children plenty of room and be patient, they may not always be paying attention to traffic.

A few extra seconds of caution can make all the difference. Letโ€™s work together to make sure every student gets to and from school safely.

Have a great and safe school year! ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ“š

The Bellbrook Fire Department proudly recognizes the retirement of Lieutenant Gregg Nartker after 34 years of dedicated service to our department and the Bellbrook community.

Lt. Nartker began his fire service career with Bellbrook in 1992 as a volunteer firefighter before being hired full-time in 1995. Over the next three decades, he served with professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to protecting our community. Throughout his career, he held numerous leadership roles, helped mentor generations of firefighters, supported countless community outreach programs, and played an instrumental role in the continued growth of our department.

Even beyond his scheduled shifts, Gregg has always answered the call. As a Bellbrook resident, he has frequently responded to the station whenever additional help was needed, demonstrating his dedication to both the department and the community he calls home.

His legacy will be measured not only by the thousands of calls he answered but also by the firefighters he mentored, the lives he touched, and the lasting impact he made on the Bellbrook Fire Department.

Please join us in thanking Lt. Gregg Nartker for his 34 years of faithful service and wishing him and his family a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement.

Congratulations, Lt. Nartker! Your Bellbrook Fire Department family thanks you for your service and wishes you nothing but the best in retirement. ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ
