👟 4,300 pairs of shoes made their way to KCS schools this year thanks to Kids of Kanawha...that is double the number donated last year!

Kids of Kanawha raised the funds to provide shoes to every KCS middle and high school, along with 28 elementary schools. A huge thank-you goes to the local businesses, companies, and individuals who gave to this shoe drive to help make it happen.

Things like this matter. It’s a reminder to our students that people all across Kanawha County are in their corner. Rooting for them and supporting them. We’re so thankful for Kids of Kanawha and for a community that continues to show up for our schools.

Senior Sunrise has been rescheduled to August 31st! Wear your PJs and get ready to watch the sunrise together; feel free to bring blankets and food, but you are not required to do so!
Please remember no food is allowed on the football field, and blankets are not to be seen in the hallways or classrooms. Put them in your locker or cars!

A huge **THANK YOU** to our incredible Riverside High School kitchen staff for going above and beyond to give our students a great start to each day!

Every morning, they're serving up an amazing **Breakfast Bar** featuring:

🍓 Fresh yogurt parfaits

This isn't just breakfast—it's a warm welcome that helps fuel our students for success in the classroom.

We are incredibly grateful for the pride, care, and hard work our cafeteria team puts into serving our Warrior family each and every day. If you see one of our kitchen staff members, be sure to thank them for all they do!

In June, Mrs. Bowles and her sister took 12 students on an eight day adventure to Costa Rica through Ef Tours. They went from daylight to dark doing every activity Costa Rica had to offer! From zip lining to Whitewater rafting to pineapple Tours to chocolate and coffee bean farms- they truly experienced a whole new world. It was an experience of a lifetime and one everyone will never forget! The group of students from ages 14-21 got along and had the best time together. Mrs. Bowles is preparing to launch another trip for June 2028. Stay tuned to see what *COUNTRIES* we will be traveling to next! We would love for everyone that wants to go to get to go. She can’t wait to share where they’re going next!!
