Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania are seeking young adults ages 18–23 who aged out of foster care in the United States, speak English, and can identify at least one caring/supportive adult who has helped them during the transition to adulthood. Please share this study opportunity with eligible individuals in your network.

Participation involves a one-time 60–90 minute interview and a brief demographic questionnaire. Compensation is a $40 electronic gift card.

✨ Interested in Becoming a Foster Parent in Centre County? ✨

There is a child right here in our community who needs a safe, caring home — and it could be yours.

We are now welcoming individuals and families who are interested in learning more about becoming foster parents in Centre County. Our upcoming foster parent training will be held:

📅 March 9, 16, and 23
⏰ 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 Bellefonte

This three-part training will guide you through:
✔️ The foster care process
✔️ How to support children who have experienced trauma
✔️ What to expect as a foster parent
✔️ The supports and resources available to you

You don’t have to be perfect — you just have to be willing to care. 💛
