The last few weeks have been tough ones for the local fire companies. We have had several very bad dwelling/building fires. The fire service had a sudden loss of a great man, friend and leader from our mutual aid company Station 8, Pleasant Gap Fire Company, past Fire Chief Gary Royer. The Logan Fire Company No. 1 Bellefonte would like to thank the community for the support and the kind words you have all given us and the other fire companies. The support we have recieved from all of you in the way of a quick "thank you" while on scenes to all the kind words and support here on facebook has not gone unnoticed . We will continue to proudly service our community and serve along side our mutual aid companies and their communities with pride and dedication. Thank you again for all your support, we greatly appreciated all the kind words.❤️👨‍🚒

Engine 7 is presently on standby at Logan Fire Company No. 1 Bellefonte as crews work to extinguish a building fire in Howard.

The Logan Fire Company No. 1 Officers and membership send our condolences to the Royer Family and his brothers and sisters at Pleasant Gap Fire Company on the loss of Gary. Gary's passing is a huge loss to the fire service. Rest easy brother we have it from here. God's Speed Gary.

Another great night celebrating the people who make this department what it is. 🚒

This past weekend, Logan Fire Company No. 1 gathered with our members, families, and fellow fire companies for our annual banquet—taking time to reflect on the past year and recognize those who go above and beyond to serve our community.

We were honored to welcome guest speaker PA Fire Commissioner Thomas Cook and to celebrate this year’s award recipients:
