⚠️ FLASH FLOOD WARNING – CENTRE COUNTY & SURROUNDING AREAS ⚠️

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Flash Flood Warning until 3:45 PM EDT for Centre, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, and Huntingdon Counties.

🌧️ 1 to 1.5 inches of rain has already fallen, with an additional 1 to 2 inches possible. Thunderstorms are producing heavy rainfall, and flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Impacts may include:
• Flash flooding of small creeks and streams
• Flooding in urban areas
• Flooded roads, highways, and underpasses
• Poor drainage and low-lying areas

📍 Areas that may experience flooding include State College, Bellefonte, Boalsburg, Pleasant Gap, Park Forest Village, Lamar, Stormstown, Lemont, Houserville, Zion, and surrounding communities.

🚨 Turn Around, Don't Drown! Never drive through a flooded roadway. Water depth can be difficult to judge, and just a few inches of moving water can sweep a vehicle off the road.

Stay alert, monitor weather conditions, and be prepared to take action if flooding occurs.
