🏠 Winter Prep Alert: House Edition 🏠

Centre County is about to unleash snow, ice, and temperatures so low that your thermostat will question whether it's working. Here are some tips to prepare for the upcoming weather:

🧤 Seal the Drafts –Doors and windows letting cold air in? Grab some weather stripping, thermal tape, or heck, even duct tape. Keep that warm air inside where it belongs.

🔥 Check Your Heating – Furnace working? Good. Firewood stacked? Excellent. Space heaters ready (safely, please)? Perfect.

💧 Protect Your Pipes – Frozen pipes = nightmare. Insulate them, let faucets drip, and double-check vulnerable spots.

❄️ Snow Defense – Is your shovel ready, snowblower fueled, and salt stocked? Failure to prepare could lead to slips, falls, and potential injuries, including damage to property or even pride.

🥶 Emergency Kit – Flashlights? Batteries? Blankets? Snacks? Chocolate? All mandatory. In case of a power outage, be prepared.

Winter’s coming. Prep now, thank yourself later.
