🎄 Bellefonte Borough Courtesy Parking Program – Holiday Season 2025 🎄

At the Bellefonte Borough Council meeting held on January 20, 2025, Council approved the Courtesy Parking Program for the 2025 Holiday Season.

🚗 How the Program Works:
• The first time the Parking Enforcement Officer observes a vehicle with no time on the meter, a complimentary two-hour pass will be issued.
• On the officer’s second pass-through on the same day, if the two hours have expired and no time has been added, a parking ticket will be issued.

📅 Program Dates:
Thursday, November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day) through
Thursday, January 1, 2026 (New Year’s Day)

With the pending snow forecast for tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec 2nd), here are some tips to prepare your car for winter weather.

1. 🚗 Check your tire tread. Inspect your tires for tread wear and rotate them during every oil change.

2. 🚕 Fill up your tires. Low tire air pressure can be potentially dangerous on winter roads. Check your tire pressure and fill your tires if necessary.

3. 🪫 Inspect your battery. Your vehicle's battery capacity lessens in cold weather. Have a professional inspect your battery and replace it if necessary.

4. 💧 Fill up your car's fluid (gas/diesel, cold-weather windshield washer fluid, oil, etc.).

The Centre County District Attorney's Office is holding their 6th Annual Coat and Toy Drive. Donations can be dropped off at the the Centre County District Attorney's Office, the county Willowbank building and the Community Services Building. Donations will be accepted from now through December 8th.

Bellefonte Victorian Christmas returns this December for a magical weekend packed with holiday festivities. Enjoy craft markets, carriage rides, holiday concerts, cocktail parties, train rides, and of course, visits from Santa himself. 🎅🏻

The Borough of Bellefonte is proud to serve as an official Toys for Tots drop-off location this holiday season!

📍 Drop-Off Location: Bellefonte Borough Building, 1st Floor, 301 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte
📅 Now through Thursday, December 11th
🕒 Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We encourage the community to help spread holiday cheer by donating new, unwrapped toys for children in need. Every donation makes a difference!
