The 2026-2027 Business Tax renewal period ends on September 30.

You may make your payment by contacting the Development Services Department at 352-245-7021 Ext. 2105 or you may also make your payment online by visiting https://www.belleviewfl.org/156/Business-Information-Resources. Click on “Pay Your Business Taxes Online” and search by invoice or business name.

Please make sure your Sunbiz registration and any applicable state licensing are in good standing and contact our office if your mailing address has changed.

Taxes are due September 30th.

Trunks receive a 10' X 20' space to set up their vehicle and/or tent. Setup starts at 1pm with the event open to the public from 4pm - 7pm. We recommend providers be prepared to hand out 5,000+ pieces of candy.

✍️📚 Calling Belleview Youth!

The City of Belleview is excited to announce the 2026 “If I Were the Mayor” Essay Contest – a chance for students to share their vision for the future of our community.

🌟 Part of the annual Florida City Week, in support of Florida League of Cities, Inc., it is a statewide celebration of civic engagement and pride in our community.

👧👦 Who Can Enter?
The age categories include:
➡4th–5th Graders or homeschooled equivalent
➡6th–8th Graders or homeschooled equivalent
➡High School (9th–12th) or homeschooled equivalent

📝 Contest Details
Essays: 350 words or less
Due Date: Entries are due by October 2, 2026
Entries must include with them: Student Name, Grade, School (if applicable), teacher's name (if applicable) and email address

The Mayor’s office is located in the Belleview Police Department building (5350 SE 110th Street). You can stop by to see if she is available, or schedule an appointment by calling (352) 400-1729.

The cat is out of the bag! 🎃 Trunk or Treat is getting a new home!

The City of Belleview’s annual Trunk or Treat is moving from Lake Lillian to the Belleview Sports Complex on Saturday, October 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Thanks to the continued support of Gary Yeomans Ford - Ocala & Villages and our community partners, Trunk or Treat has continued to grow each year. That means we have officially outgrown the Lake Lillian grounds, and the move to the Sports Complex will give us more room to create an even better experience for families.

The larger location means better parking, more space for trunk or treating and room to expand the activities and entertainment that have become part of the night.

This year’s event will feature plenty to enjoy throughout the evening, including a selection of food trucks, music with a DJ, foam pumpkin decorating, inflatables and activities, a haunted maze presented by the Arts District, and an expanded haunted hayride.

👻 Want to be part of the haunted hayride? We are looking for cast members to help bring the scares to life! Anyone interested in participating can contact [email protected] for details.
