Volunteers needed! We can always use Drivers and/or EMTs (if you aren't certified, we will find you a class).

As we all know, volunteerism is down for most non-profit organizations. We have a handful of our dedicated volunteers who have been active for over 15 years up to 50 years, but nowadays the most a new volunteer lasts is up to five years!

In order to keep serving our community, we need volunteers! Yes, we do have a great group of paid staff as well...but more volunteers are always needed!

If you feel the need to help others in time of need, call our station (717-935-2317) and leave a message, and someone will get back to you!

David Byler stopped by our station yesterday to thank Charles Sieber and Shari Corbin Spicher for everything they did for him a couple months ago. He called 911 when he wasn't feeling well...when the ambulance picked him up and started enroute to meet the paramedic (Fame), he went in to cardiac arrest. CPR was initiated. With quick actions from our crew and the paramedic, they were able to save him. Thanks to all involved ❤️
