Just in case you don't follow me or the Kansas Envirothon page, I am in Mississippi this week with our Kansas State Champion Envirothon team from St. John's Catholic School-Beloit, KS. We are at the campus of Mississippi State University competing with 42 other teams across the nation and Canada at the National NCF Competition. Please follow Kansas Envirothon to see all of the other posts and amazing pictures from the team and this amazing campus.

So excited for the opportunity to watch this Team in action. This will be my second International NCF Envirothon to attend and I simply can't wait. Will be posting pictures and highlights of the trip. Stay tuned......

The winning Kansas team from St. John's Catholic School-Beloit will soon compete at Mississippi State University in the National Conservation Foundation's International Envirothon Competition, supported by their advisors, the District Manager of Republic County Conservation District, the Kansas Envirothon and the Mitchell County Conservation District.
They earned this honor as during the Regional Kansas Envirothon in Ellsworth on April 9, they won first overall and topped several categories, including Aquatic/Ecology, Forestry, Soils/Land Use, and Rangeland, with strong placements in Current Environmental Issues and Wildlife. Advancing to the 35th state contest at Camp Wood near Elmdale, KS on April 22, the team again took top honors and placed first in multiple categories, earning second on their Current Environmental Issue test.
This marks the third year in a row that the St. John’s team has had this opportunity.
